HSSE (M42) roughing cutter with four cutting edges
- Interrupted profile enables fast chip breaking
- Face cutting geometry for plunging.
Due to a higher proportion of cobalt, HSSE has a higher hardness and temperature resistance compared to HSS.
The milling cutters are suitable for steel and non-ferrous metals. Good cooling of the milling cutter significantly increases its service life and the quality of the surfaces
Choice of coating
Coatings protect the cutting edges from abrasive wear and reduce cutting forces. A significant increase in efficiency can be achieved, particularly in series production, thanks to higher feed rates and fewer tool changes.

TiAlN coating The TiAlN coating (titanium aluminum nitride) is a multi-layer wear protection coating that is applied to the cutting edges using the PVD process. The resulting oxidation resistance and high hardness lead to a significant increase in tool life. Application: Steel, stainless steel, gray and malleable cast iron. |
